Coach Ziv: Ziv Kruger has been coaching flat track roller derby since December of 2006 and to date has coached six WFTDA leagues in twenty-six bouts. Ziv has also designed and taught boot camps for six leagues, and this will be his third Blood & Thunder camp.
Being a prolific photographer and writer for the sport adds perspective and dimension to Ziv’s approach to the modern game, and he specializes in maximizing output from each of the diverse benches he’s worked with. As part of Ziv’s approach, he incorporates detailed film study and breakdown, bench rotation formulas, and prioritized bout preparation sessions.
Ziv has been an official photographer of twenty-seven tournaments, and has covered bouts for seventy-eight leagues. His images and feature articles have appeared in twenty-one publications, including a feature film and television series.
Ziv has trained coaches for seven leagues to date, and his methodical approach to training has yielded three leagues the highest ranking in their respective histories, including 2 first time invitations to their regional tournament.

Frida Beater:Frida Beater has been the Head of Training and skated with the 5280 Fight Club All-Stars for the Rocky Mountain Rollergirls for the last five years. She was a co-captain of the 5280 Fight Club from 2008-2010, when she helped lead her team to the WFTDA Championships both years. In 2010, Frida scored the winning points in the Championship game, securing Rocky Mountain's first Championship title. Frida was the first roller derby skater to be featured in Sports Illustrated Magazine in 2010. In 2011, Frida was chosen to be the co-captain of Team USA. Frida has shared her love for the sport across the world where she has coached skaters from the United States, New Zealand, and Europe.
Iron Maiven: With eight years, seven RollerCons, and three league championships for her home team under her wheels, Iron Maiven has watched roller derby explode into the community it is today. Skating for the Los Angeles Derby Dolls since their start, Maiven is an active member of the interleague committee and training team, a former captain and continued skater on the all star team, and a former captain to a home team for five seasons. She's coached multiple years at both RollerCon and March RADness, and this is her first Blood & Thunder camp. In 2010, she started Iron Doll Clothing, designing and creating custom roller derby uniforms, which has allowed her to travel to tournaments and camps, filling her brain with as much derby knowledge, training, and strategy as possible.
Quick Silver: Quick Silver started refereeing in 2001-02 with the Texas Roller Girls. She was the first USARS roller derby referee, as well as the first WFTDA Level 5 female referee.
She was one of five referees invited to the Minnesota WFTDA meeting, and refereed the second interleague bout between Texas and Arizona in 2005.

SmackYa Sideways: Smackya Sideways has been smacking people sideways for just over two years, but has been on roller skates for twenty five years. She started out as a figure skater, and, as a teen, she started speed skating. When she was done with speed, she went on to be a jam skater. Not only did she hang out at the rink, she worked there teaching people how to skate. Just over two years ago, she joined the Rose City Rollers. She skates on the Guns N Rollers home team and also considers herself fortunate to skate with their All star travel team, the Wheels of Justice. She also teaches Rose City's fresh meat squad. She has a crazy love for roller derby, and she wants to teach it to YOU!!!
Teflon Donna: Teflon Donna began skating with the Carolina Rollergirls in 2004, except for the fact that she could barely skate! After only a few short months of persistent training and determination, she joined CRG in its first expo bout and continued improving and excelling within CRG until 2007. At this time, Teflon moved to Philadelphia and joined the Philly Rollergirls. Skating and captaining (on and off) as a Heavy Metal Hooker and a Philly Liberty Belle for the past five seasons, she has become one of the most well-known athletes in the derby community. She also has coaching experience at other workshops, including Montreal and Coal City, and for Blood & Thunder in Texas. Teflon's passion for learning every aspect of skating and the sport of derby itself is contagious, and she loves helping other derby athletes achieve their highest potential.
